Did y'all know that on my birthday week back in 1977, snow fell in Miami?

I was, of course, in Orlando at the time. Snow fell there, too. It was neat, watching the Castle through the smattering of snowflakes.

It snowed on January 19th, 1977 in Central Florida, the day I was born. I have newspaper cuttings that my grandmother kept from years ago. There are numerous family stories about snowball fights in the parking lot of the hospital. And I barely escaped being named "Snowdrop". It's a good thing they asked my mother again after the drugs finally wore off!
