folk made this for me back in early 2002. It was one of my first icons, and it's based on the font from Legally Blonde. I was blonde in law school, and I wore pink a lot then (and do, still now), but unlike Elle, I never got any flack for it. I actually got a job at a wonderful Wall Street law firm after interviewing in a pink Tocca suit. Anyhow, I love the movie, and icons weren't as big a thing then as they are now, so it worked for me for a really long time as my primary icon.


This is based on a quip I made to thegraybook back in late 2001 or early 2002 as to where Arwen would do most of her shopping. I think mon_starling made it? Or maybe Stacey?


I think this was made by flourish from an image at GelGems. GelGems are these cool, soft plasticky things in amazing translucent colours that you can stick on windows or mirrors, and I adore them lots.


I believe this came from slytherincess in a mass posting she once did. It is my pinksparkly manifestation and back when I had far fewer icons than I do now, I used it for squee and birthday wishes.


This is my original Sidekick, as photographed at POAIMAXNYC in June of 2004. I've had many more sidekicks since then (mostly of the II because the keyboard kept coming off and they'd have to replace it) but I still like having this icon around. Reminds me where I've been.


From Clueless. Cher! It is my "omgyouaresoclueless" icon, as in I use it when the subject being discussed is verging on the crazy.


smilie117 made this when FictionAlley started the Katie O'Brien Scholarship Fund back in the spring of 2005. We've given away three thousand dollars in scholarships over the last two years, and are going to do it one last time in 2008. Wheeee!

From left to right:
1.Well I always considered all of us HP loyalists as members of the DA so I needed a calling card. So whenever anything negative against HP comes up this is the flag I fly in defense of the HP universe.

2.This was a pick that my friend Kellie and I took when we went to London to see Equus. Which was phenominal by the way. We decided to do a few HP related sights while we were there and of course Platform 9 3/4 is not to be missed. It's so cool to see the cart sticking out of the wall!!

3.This one makes me laugh everytime I see it. The last person that you would ever see at a movie would be Snape let alone a 3D movie and eating popcorn. That's way too Muggle for him so it's just funny to see him in those glasses.

4.Once I find interest in something and I become hooked, I become addicted and need to read, view, take in etc. everything and anything that has to do with that subject. So of course once I become that involved in something I become very protective of it against anyone that doesn't take the time to understand and enjoy it as I do. And when I was introduced to LJ I was elated to find that there was a whole community out there that was just like me. Very passionate and dedicated to their intrests. And I loved it! So just like my DA icon I wanted to show a united front against anything or anyone that threatens the comm negatively and I thought that this icon said it the best.

5.I think that Jensen Ackles is one of the most beautiful men that I have ever seen in my life. And even in this pic where half of his features are hidden you can't miss his striking features. Not to mention that this pic really makes me want slowly lick a path up his exposed neck to his ear and back down. It just got really warm in my office.

6.James Marsters as Spike is probably one of the best characters to ever come across the telly. For most of the seasons we've only ever seen Spike completely covered from neck to toe. And he always had that long leather coat on. Then when we finally got to the naked Spike season (this would be season 6) damn did he have a helluva nice body on him!!! So this is a reminder of what's underneath all that black.

7.I just think that this pic really showcases Harry and Mr.Weasley's feelings in that moment so well. Harry is going to a trial that can get him banned from Hogwart's which is the only place that he's ever known as a home so the worrying look on his face says it all. And then there's Mr.Weasley who, no matter what is happening at the time, will always stop to marvel at all things Muggle :).
