I know it's weird but I am really enjoying the relationship between Peter and the Irish guys in this scene. There's a lot of good missing scenes in there.

Wow, that's a family reunion! And nathan with the shotgun! (Did Dean teach him how to use it in some crossover-verse? Or did he learn in the military? Do they even use shotguns? Or learn about them?)

and yes matt's dad is the killer. He's doing it by sending images to people's minds so they kill themselves. He *might* have done it to Mr Petrelli, but that's assuming that said Mr P isn't actually Kensei which I've seen speculated but know nothing spoilery about so feel free to speculate but plz no spoilers on this.

Personally, I love Elle already. Primarily because she's gonna eliminate the Irish plotline, one poor accent at a time! I just really want Peter to remember things and get back to Nathan and Nathan's bagful of burned-faced issues.

I totally want Monica to become a cool vigilante type character. Her power is too cool. :)

I know! Thus far, everyone in New Orleans (except possibly Monica's BFF, who has a gawdawful accent and can't especially act) is fantastic. I find myself caring about that storyline more than almost any of the others, these days. Though nothing can beat Molly and her daddies.

I can already envision her becoming St. Joan, in a more comic-book-y world. She'll be such a fantastic superhero. :-)

My insta-gut reaction is that Lightning Lass' daddy is Midas, but there are several more people knocking about in that picture.

I'm not sold on Parkman Sr. being the killer, though.

What intrigues me right now is the hints that the powers themselves grow and evolve and maybe change their nature, versus the characters learning how to better wield them. That's potentially something that's already happened to Claire, with the growing her toe back--though it could just as easily be that she hadn't gotten around to trying it before. Now I'm wondering just what Hiro's dad was capable of, and whether Angela has been wielding a more sublte, sophisticated version of Eden's persuasion. So much to think about...that's one of the great things about this show, that it's not afraid to be complex.

If Nightmare Man simply makes them see things that cause them to kill themselves, how did Ando see the person who pushed Keito off the roof? I think there must be more to it than that, although it would certainly explain what happened to Mama Petrelli at the police station. Of course, what I really want to know is why Matt's dad has the vendetta against everyone else in the first place.

And I'm not (thus far) terribly fond of Elle. She almost seems like a female version of Sylar - willing to do anything to achieve her ultimate goal - but less ... I dunno, charismatic about it? Or something. I'm going to need to see more of her before I decide what I really think.

I've been meaning to ask you, have you checked out The Tenth Wonder podcast yet?

It's totally a guy thing, but actually done very well. Good sound, some decent speculating and popular enough to have caught the ears of TPTB at Heroes. (One of the guys that runs the podcast recently was able to visit the set, in fact.)
