Which drink goes with which movie?

wendywoowho and I were just discussing whether Xanadu is more of a beer movie or a pina colada film, and whether Grease II is more beer-friendly, and I opined that The Pirate Movie calls out for rum-based drinks (and PotC probably does too). What alcoholic beverages match best with your favorite films?
ETA: This bit from circa 1976 Sesame Street made me very happy tonight.

I'm trying to think of what one would watch with the Grease-2 Level "Stayin' Alive." I would say 7 & 7 because that was Tony Manero's drink, but his character's so OOC in SA he probably would have switched to wine coolers or something.

Date: 2007-10-03 01:49 am (UTC)You start with equal parts orange juice and pineapple juice, about 3 oz each. Gently combine 1/2 oz of each: Creme De Menthe liquer, Midori (melon liquer) and Peach Schnapps. Swirl together until the concoction is a nice minty green and serve over ice.
On a hot day, the citrus and mint are very refreshing, and keep the melon from overpowering the drink.

Strawberry Daiquiries for Kaylee when watching Firefly. Otherwise, something chinese.
ούζο (Ouzo) for My Big Fat Greek Weddint (the trick is to see if you can keep up with the guests!). OR something made with HIPNOTIQ or blue curaçao (for the windex!).
Irish whisky for The Boondock Saints. Or perhaps Bloody Orange Screwdrivers (in honour of the beaten up/killed Russian mob folks).
