Did everyone see the update on VotePetrelli?

In all the decisions I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for New York and its citizens. Recently I have encountered a situation that renders me unable to put the best interest of New York as my number one concern. Without going further into further details, I am resigning from my elected seat as Junior Senator of New York state, effective immediately.

Okay, apart from the fact that I thought he was running for congress (ie the House, not the Senate) - so please can someone from NBC/the show fix that now? - I think the decision to have him not take his seat was a smart one. It avoids the whole issue of what Micah did with the computers which might eventually get discovered (although in the real world, there would probably still be an investigation) and even though it's not stated on the website, it is probably Public Knowledge that his little brother is missing and has been since election day.

Actually, it is the House - it says CONGRESS in the title bar and the site specifies the 30th District (see here) which doesn't actually exist, but it makes sense for them to fictionalize a district number. So yes please NBC please fix the website!


Also, on this page is anyone able to click on the LIZARDS thing on the top right?

I'm not loving the comic book in video format - I like being able to "turn" the pages. Sigh.

Hmm, well, I've heard people say "running for Congress" when they mean the Senate, since the Senate is half of Congress, but if another part of the website says the House, then they need to fix it. D:

Yes, but the idea of having him in the House of Representatives was specifically to put him on a line to the White House. I think the assumption is that somehow he would have wound up as Speaker of the House when the president and VP were both killed somehow. The Speaker is next in line for the presidency - even if it would necessitate a special election soon after.

Ooh, that's an interesting thought. I'd never really thought through how he'd get to be President. I always kind of figured that when NYC blew up he'd gain support a la Rudy Giuliani. But getting into the White House by being Speaker makes a lot of sense. Huh.
