I'm heidi (and also 8heidi8, as I wasn't able to get into the "heidi" one for a while, but then they finally resent my pwd so I can now, so yay) on GreatestJournal, so feel free to friend me there.

Everybody is running away to GJ now? Why? The crazy people will probably just follow everybody to GJ (if they haven't been there already). I thought changing the interests listed in the user profiles is all that needed to be done to avoid the witchhunt?

Or is it just that people are pissed off at LJ in principle? Because I can totally understand that.

As Destina mentioned, we're all just 'name squatting' to make sure we have the usernames we want for journals we'll probably rarely use. This recent LJ purge was the only reason for me to double-check that, yep, I still had a GJ account. {g} And I thought, what the heck, I'll add a Vox account too, even though they're also part of SixApart, LJ's management... At least I've got my username covered under four major journals. {chuckle}

Joking aside, so far, it's user profile interests that are being reported. Two 'major' LJ fandom communities being watched by fans are the wincest and petrellicest groups to see what'll happen. As a Wincest reader, I don't remember seeing the LJ mods for wincest being active, so I'm *estimating* (can't confirm anything) the mods aren't watching the community. Swim or sink... "as-is".

I've had that account for years, initially as a place to store icons I didn't have room for on LJ. And it's just a place for me to read people who choose to leave LJ. At the moment, I'm not leaving here, and I hope it's not something I will ever need to do. Bloody permanent account - not wasting that kind of dosh!

Lately (as in the past two weeks or so) I've been randomly getting a lot of spam comments to my GJ (which has been used a total of twice - during the LJ blackouts, heh). This makes me wary of a Great Fandom Relocation, heh.
