... did not like Severus Snape when he was her student, but likes him now that he is her colleague. At least, she did through mid-1997
... did not like Professor Binns when he was her teacher, and doesn't really like him as a colleague either

I would love to see that written! And I can totally believe that of her. The cat thing fits her, but you're probably right that she was relieved.
I also agree about her feelings toward Snape and Binns. I wonder if she'll replace him now that she's headmistress...
