I just posted to heroes_tv about the Heroes:Origins show - six episodes of hero-origins-stories that have been picked up for next year, which is cool ETA and which led yahtzee63 to write a brilliant Heroes: Origins/American Idol crossover, which I think gets the award for the first Heroes: Origins fic ever (as she wrote it maybe two hours after the show was announced).


Anyhow, then I saw an article in Variety about the second year of The CW which included this sentence:

Thursdays should stay stable at 8, with "Smallville" leading into either the returning "Supernatural" or a new skein.

Yes, I know Variety isn't the same as an official announcement by The CW.

But....


They're a pretty good source, right?

Right.

(Also posted about this here on supernatural_tv, and yes, I am amused that in yet another gack by Kring from Kripke, they're now using the SPN comic title for the Heroes spin-off tv show. Almost as good as when SPN killed off a lawyer named Nathan...)

Except that people have been wondering for a while if they'd move Supernatural to a different night so it's not up against Grey's anymore, so that's what the either could mean, easily. By saying "the returning Supernatural" rather than "Smallville, which may lead into Supernatural if it does return..." I think that returning is modifying Supernatural and thus means that aspect is a done deal - just the time-slot for the show isn't yet.

Ah, I hadnt heard about the possible time change, that does make it look a lot more hopeful. I think I'm just not going to believe anything till Thursday though *g*

Yeah, just to back up what Heidi said, there's a lot of talk about moving it to Sunday night, apparently, so I wouldn't worry solely based on this comment.

(Not that I won't be biting my nails over the next three days!)
