So we have a canon-date for Mary's birthday that's different from the comic? And a year for John's birth that's what I'd guessed. The scene at the grave was amazing.

This episode had its own coda. A chick-flick moment and a talk and everything shy of a hug. And it was *necessary* before we enter what the next two episodes will be.

I plan to *cling* to so many of you two weeks from tonight in New Orleans.

And then? Drink.

Sigh. Show.

Yeah, it was a different license plate. I love the way they showed us that assuming that we would know. :D

Oh god, don't even get me started on the myriad ways they've screwed up their timeline. It's getting positively JKR-like in its badness. First they tell us that this is a year to the day since Phantom Traveler (YEAH RIGHT) and then they give us Mary's birthday (I'm going to assume the comics messed up her birthday with her deathday, since there's no way they're the same) even though Sam's canonical birthday was YESTERDAY. Whatever, Supernatural.
