New John Hughes-inspired Comm

I couldn't find any collection of icons from John Highes films today, and there's no organized fic-rec-list and while I saw a cluster of good (and lessgood) vids today there was nowhere to playlist them, and wouldn't it be great to remember John Hughes with a fan-creativity fest, and wonder what we would've written and vidded had there been Teh Intrawebz back in 1986?

wordplay had similar thoughts, and wanted to organize a group re-watch of all of Hughes' films, so we chatted a bit, couldn't think of a good name, and created hughesficcomm anyway. So please come to join the comm and vote for or suggest a better name and share your Hughes-inspired fan-creations and recs, and get ready for a rewatch of 16 Candles, coming this week.
