Texas and Politics

Hope everyone on the eastern side of Texas is hunkered down for the storm. A lot of us in Miami have a twinge of guilt that Ike didn't hit us, as we thought it was going to last week. Good luck, and don't go outside during the eye, because the "dirty" side can come upon you without a warning.

But I just had to get my musical theater geek on via the Obama Campaign's national HQ musical theater geeks* ( behind the cut )

At least, I think it's the campaign office HQ. It might bbe JibJab. I can't tell and I don't care because it's brilliant.

And it's the right thing at the right time. When I was back at Penn for my first Homecoming, the weekend before the election of 1992, I went to see the fall Glee Club show, and they did the entire first act of Les Miz rewritten to match the political campaign. I seem to remember Perot as Cosette but I might be wrong.

Anyhow, watch it. Clever and made of win.
