Medium-res version available via download on my own site or Megaupload and lower-res version downloadable here; right-click and save to download.

Watch it on YouTube or imeem.

The downloadable version is much more watchable than the versions on YouTube and imeem, so I recommend downloading it and watching it that way - and then please review/give con-crit - it is very, very appreciated!

Just a reminder - I have two videos up for auction in Sweet Charity; I'll create anything using clips from Heroes, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Doctor Who/Torchwood, Star Wars, Friends and/or Chuck (or crossovers of the above). It's for a good cause, and there are some amazing writers, artists, vidders, crafters and creators of miscellaneous things up for sale, so check it out!

Some meta about the song: Going Underground was one of the last singles released by The Jam, the punk/mod band fronted by Paul Weller. It was recorded in 1979 and was released in the UK in early March, 1980. Yes, of course Dean's personal preference is for classic rock, but there's a number of punk songs from the late 70s and early 80s that "fit" him in various different ways, and if I wanted to fully backstory this, Mary would have a friend who's living in the UK in 1979 and beyond, who sends cassette tapes from Camden for Mary and Paddington Bear stuffies for Dean. And The Jam did open for Blue Öyster Cult in 1978, so it's close enough to Dean's musical tastes that hopefully, he wouldn't dislike it.

I'm working on this series of vids, and I'm in the middle of the fourth one right now. Been working on it off and on for a few days, but managed to have about 90 minutes straight through to focus on it this evening and made two absolutely fantastic editing decisions and...

Something glitched. Somehow, all the vid-content deleted itself - I don't even know how it all got selected! - and all I had left was eight seconds of a clip that I was planning on cutting back to three anyway - and it auto-saved. And locked.

Luckily! LUCKILY, I had rendered the first minute-fifty of it (although I was planning to replace about 20 seconds of placeholder-vid) so I do have over half of the vid, and all my clips were saved so I have to just put them back in and trim them down, so I probably only lost about an hour's real work but?

Grrr.

I'm taking a break from it for the night and heading off to re-watch my vid for Dean's birthday a few more times; the jensen-prettiness will cheer me up.

[livejournal.com profile] seimaisin, call me when you're up if it's breakfast-time or even lunch-time? I might need a mimosa at breakfast if this takes longer to fix than I expect.

Also, a reminder! Last chance to bid in Sweet Charity!
