heidiI couldn't have done this a year ago - I didn't watch enough shows. But now I can, so...
Name six tv shows you're watching this season (before looking at the questions):

01. Who is your favorite character from #2? (Daily Show)
Okay, off to a weird start. Jon, of course, but I like Samantha Bee too!
02. Who is your least favorite character from #4? (Supernatural)
Um. I'm not a huge Jo-fan but I don't have much Jo-hate either. Can I say the YED? Does he count? They didn't say recurring character, but he's sorta recurring, right?
03. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Heroes/Torchwood)
A crossover between Heroes and TOrchwood would include SO MUCH ANGST by Jack if he could actually *see* Claude, and would also feature some Tonks/JessNiki and Ianto wondering if he shouldn't choose the guy with the dark and floppy hair who's a bit closer to his age (Peter, not Sylar, people). Also, Torchwood would argue that Linderman is an alien and thus, he needs to go back to Cardiff with them and that would be good. And there would be angst by Sylar when Claire and Peter and Jack all team up in some grand and unkillable attack of The Power of Three. Oh wait, no, that's Charmed.
Anyhow, it would be *good*. And angsty and snog-filled! Wheee!
04. Who is your favorite ship from #6? (Entourage)
Ari/Mrs Ari? I never can keep the boys' girlfriends organized, and they're all better off hanging together than with girls anyway.
05. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (Doctor Who/Entourage)
Ooooh, Rose would *love* to get set up with Vince! That would be terrific fun for both of them - and he'd probably love a few days in Time And Space, too. But she'd go back to the doctor after dropping him off atop the Hollywood sign, because he wants to focus on his Career anyway.
06. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (DSupernatural)
Oh, how could I choose between Sam and Dean? (I would take them to Disney Land or Disney World, btw.)
I guess if I had to choose between them, I'd choose neither and opt for Missouri and get some fore-sight out of the thing.
07. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change? (Daily Show)
The results of the 2004 election.
08. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them. (Torchwood)
I love this question! I love gen! I'd say Jack and Gwen, because I find it so hopeful that he's bringing her in with the purpose of her bringing some sort of an outsider perspective and stabilitzation to the team and to his own management style, and she has the potential, and I think it's good and interesting that she isn't actually living up to that purpose or potential.
09. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Heroes & Doctor Who)
Hm. Who is the lead character on Heroes anyway?
I'd save whoever it was on Heroes unless it was Peter or Claire, who can take care of themselves, because the Doctor would regenrate and while we'd be bereft of Teh Tennant, his, er, hearts would go on.
10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose? (Supernatural)
As there's only two title characters in the series, all I'd do would have it say both their names on screen in tandem, or I'd have it alternate from week to week.
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be? (Entourage)
Well, they keep adding in new characters all the time for an ep or two anyway, usually industry-types. Maybe a perky lawyer from South Florida? :D
12. What happens in your favourite episode of show #2? (Daily Show)
The Democrats Take The House & Senate, and the show merges with the Colbert Report! Either one would have been enough!
13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (Heroes)
Killing off Sylar would be a major plot-downer at this moment, although not, say, at the end of hte season. So I'll say Candace the Shape Shifter, because she wigs me out. Yuck.
14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (Doctor Who or Torchwood)
It's the same set, so... either?
15. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
Well, I'm a Heidi married to the dark-haired guy who graduated law school in the early 90s but without the mob ties and flying and stuff, so...
If I was single, though? Possibly still Nathan, although there's a certain amount of fun in trying to get the Doctor to go domestic, even if it's only for 30 or 40 years...

Oh, fun! They're both set in NYC so it could be something as simple as monica catering for the crew at SN for some event and then Hijinks Would Ensue, or there could be Natalie/Ross dating or some kids-in-school overlap or something. Are there any crossover fics?

I love going back to the early eps - and the flashbacks - and seeing how Chandler and Monica changed in how they interacted with each other. I know they didn't plan the romance from the start, but when it happened it just was *fun* and gah I miss this show so weirdly. It needed to end when it did, but when it was good, it was so fun and good.

Given that I think that Meredith Baxter Birney was listed first on FT, I'd save whoever was first on SN (was it Dan or Casey) instead of Elise.

I have a special love for the wedding episode, as per above, but I'd probably say the one where Lois learns who Clark really is, because damn, the cliche is shiny. And still fun.

Wasn't what we dealt with re Isaac enough? Ok, no? Then a Six Feet Under ending. Kill everyone off, over the next eighty years.

If I ever could have visited the sets for FT or Friends? Tough choice. Major thru-the-80s-and-beyond crush on Michael J Fox would've won out, though.

Assuming I was of appropriate age, and not my RL age, Alex P Keaton, later seasons. Also, Chandler would have been great for two or three dates. And who could turn down Clark Kent? Or Superman?

You know, I did this meme a while back, but I thought, I've probably changed favorite shows by now, so I started to do it again...and not only have I not changed favorite shows, I've not changed the order in which I like them. Every question was deja vu. :P
