John Winchester's truck has a cd player, and is for sale for $5500 (but must be picked up in Vancouver)

Harry Reid is keeping the senate open over Thanksgiving to block Bush making any recess appointments.

I am not the only non-vegetarian on LJ who hates turkey! I have a major food aversion to turkey so Thanksgiving is a little awkward for me, but this year there will be salmon, so it's all good.

John Edwards joined the WGA on the picket line at Universal today! Does anyone know if they'll be picketing on Thursday and if so, where and whether any of the fan-groups are sending Thanksgiving-specific treats that day?

ETA + change of icon: ...and something I learned elsewhere - Target has all the seasons of Gilmore Girls on sale for fifteen bucks, marked down from either 36 or 44, so if you need a complete collection of Stuff Incorporating Milo and/or Jared this might be a good week for it? Me, I'm just looking for material for that preseries Peter/Sam vid that I'd love to do. And the show's writers do get residuals from dvd sales....
