Ok, fine. Rage.

Here's what I just posted as a comment on lj's new [livejournal.com profile] news posting:
Well, I'm enraged and this will be screened so I don't think anyone will bother to bloody see it anyway.

Your little OpenID system does not work on t-mobile sidekicks. I cannot reply as a signed in user anywhere because there is nowhere for me to enter my username or my url.

Is this really the right way to treat people who just paid for permanent accounts? LJ commenting is almost useless to me now, as most of my friends bar anons, which is all I can be.

How could you?

So, flist, if you bar anons, now you know why I won't be posting until LJ fixes this utterly insane situation.

Love to all. Except LJ. No loff for you.

Yay, I just registered for The Witching Hour! I also signed up for the lunch with Henry Jenkins, who interviewed me for his upcoming book, and who is probably the main reason why I am planning to come on Friday & Saturday. I won't be around at all on Thursday or Sunday, though, so I'll have to compress seeing all of you into those two days.

Yay, we got a phone call from our nanny this morning - her daughter had a baby overnight! He's a 7lb 3oz boy named Edward, and I can't wait to meet him!

Pain, my sidekick is still being Really Annoying in terms of replying to LJ comments. It seems that, because of the anonymity issue, I can't reply to anything friendslocked. At all. : makes enraged face

I know some people have replied to my griping on [livejournal.com profile] news that this is a "beta project" but Brad didn't say it is, so I don't think I was wrong for presuming this was a full release. Believe me, as an admin myself, I know that people can react badly to changes, especially unexpected ones, but that's not what's going on for me here. It's just, a lot of what I use LJ for is reading posts and replying while I'm away from my computer, and now, in many cases, I can't do that at all, and where I can, it is now about four times more difficult. And that is, simply put, annoying.

So I have a small request - those of you who don't normally allow anon comments, can you, perhaps, until this is fixed, allow them with a screen? I, and the other sidekick users, will appreciate you. But I also totally understand if you don't feel comfortable doing so. Again, I say, "grrrr."

I'm off to plug in my new-to-me mac keyboard and wireless mouse. Yay for ebay!

Also, In the 140s? That's cool. )
