Taking a mental break from Supernatural (oh, angst! Woe!) to spiral off of a musing from copperbadge with

Sam is theorizing about Gabriel Grey being a Petrelli and I wondered...

What if peter and gabriel *are* twins, but somehow they (a) didn't think gabriel survived or (b) they didn't know she was having two? Possibly a linderman manipulation of the doctor visits? And they were separated at birth?

I know ultrasound existed in the late 70s but it wasn't terribly common and if a doctor was in on some manipulation from someone with big bucks (Linderman?) could he have masked a twin from Angela & Spouse and then taken said twin at birth? Or acted like said twin didn't survive at birth, if she knew there was a second?

And might this be what twigged Angela to not let Claire be "lost" to the family, later on?
