Poor boy is going to have such a headache from the hearing thing, but the rest of it? Plus the powers he already has?

If he can keep his head (literally and figuratively) he'll be insanely powerful. Assuming that Sociopath isn't actually a Sylar-power because if he gets that, no emo in the world will save him.

Nathan or Claude probably still could, though.

He saw Claude before he touched him, though, and he's definitely never touched Isaac - actually, he's never seen Isaac paint either, which is putting a dent in my theory.

He did touch him while he was OD-ing in ep 1 (I just rewatched that scene and it's really evocative how it's the same triangle as Simone's death scene but the players are in different roles) which is why I was pondering the demonstration-or-touch acquisition thing. It can't be only one or the other because as you said, there would be holes. But it could be both?

He got Matt's just from proximity. I don't think Matt touched him, unless he was doing the cop-arm-grab-thing to lead him into the interview room while we weren't looking.
