Just when I think you're completely insane again, you go and create something beautiful like this ad campaign.

Yes, a beautiful ad campaign. Isn't Scarlett Johansen lovely ?

Two more of the ad's images feature David Beckham as prince charming and Beyonce as Alice, with Lyle Lovett as the March Hare and Oliver Platt as the Mad Hatter.

1) I love Disney world so freaking much (going there on my honeymoon in October, and trying to get work to send me to training there in June)
2) That Cinderella picture is breathtaking... amazing.

Thank you SO MUCH for those links! I might have to icon those pictures

I didn't realise you were getting married in October - our anniversary is October 19 - and it's a terrific time of year for marriages, and Disney visits!

October 27th! It was the only weekend in October that wasn't another family member's wedding anniversary (yet is the anniversary of most of our parent's friends.) October is a really popular wedding month!

As I understand it, the suite will be available for guests after the Year is up, but I have a hunch it'll be $5000 per night, or something.

One of my coworkers said she heard it was up to $8000/night but an article online (I'll see if I can find it) said it was only $587, which is still expensive but much better. :)

And those ads? Are awesome. Thanks for the link! :D

I think the $587 is the "actual value" for the per night stay prize?

...Possibly. I thought that seemed a little cheap for that kind thing. XD

It's probably because the winner needs to pay taxes on the prize, so they don't want to make it overpricey for that reason, and then they'll "reassess" it when the prize-giveaways are over?

That's what I understand. This makes sense when you consider that a standard room at a deluxe resort in peak season goes for maybe $300, and you have to figure that WDW will want (and be able to) charge a lot more for a stay in a one-of-a-kind suite INSIDE the central icon of the Magic Kingdom.

And can you imagine what the waiting list is going to be like?

We were thinking of trying to rebook our WDW trip for mid-April. Is it too late, do you think, to get decent reservations or character meals? Should we just give up now?

Oh! Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease come down!

You should be fine for resevrations & everything - I got a res for Cinderella Breakfast 70 days out when we had to reschedule my birthday trip when Sydney was sick, so really, anything is possible (except the japan restaurant as they're closing that for renovations).

And april? I can totally come up and meet you there if it's ok with y'all!

Ooooooooooh! I'm on my Treo right now, so I'm having to squint really hard to make out the details in the photos, but they look fantastic. Thanks for the links!
