marag wrote a fic featuring Hermione and Jack as a *very* early birthday present for me. And it's a spot-on semi-gen/semi-het, absolutely cracked-out, terrific fic. Give it a read if you've ever watched Dr Who's Nine season or any Torchwood. Or even if you haven't but you're intrigued by Hermione chatting with the pretty guy in the icon.
