My son is an early adopter

Two years ago he wanted to be Danny Phantom for Halloween but the show was so new that no costumes existed. Last year we didn't really have halloween because everyone still had blackouts because of hurricane wilma, so he wore an old Power Rangers costume and we went to the kids museum.

This year he wants to be that flying bison from Avatar. Where in the universe can I get a costume for *that*?

And no, he won't go as Zuko because Zuko is "evil".
Maybe I can get him a bald cap and send him out as Ang? 'Cause I can't find an "official" costume of that either.

Alas, because he'd make a great little Will Turner this year....

Well, as a recc, I'd say get a viking helmet, paint it beige, and then overpaint the arrow -- then get him a beige jumpsuit of some kind and brown gloves. :D

No suggestions for that apparent third pair of legs that thing's got, though...

These are the situations in which mom takes up drinking and learns to sew costumes all in one night. That's what I did when someone had to have a Quidditch uniform like from the movie and not the ones from Toys R Us. Now all these years later, he rolls his 'mature' eyes at it and can't believe he once wore that.

Ariel wants to be Zoboo from Zoboomafoo -- A LEMUR. Like, yeah. Where am I going to get a costume for that? Oh, yes, I SEW! -.- I suppose I'll have to adapt a lemur suit from a monkey costume or somesuch.
