IF YOU HAVE ART ON ARTISTICALLEY:

Can you check your gallery and make sure all the art there has your
name under it, and htat nothing has gone missing?

It seems a gremlin has eaten some of our system's back-end coding and
some art got reshuffled. This is no small matter as it's caused two
art theft accusations so far, which haven't been the fault of any of
the artists - and we need to figure out why this is happening on the
back-end.

If you notice you've got some art under someon'e else's name, or
notice art on AA credited to the wrong person, please make a screencap
and/or save the HTML if you can, and please immediately email us the
link at help@fictionalley.org.

So far the people this has happened to have deleted the offending
links due to harrassment they were getting, so the AA coders don't
have an example of this partiuclar error to even begin to figure out
what's is going on.

That's why we've turned off the ability for artists to delete their
art - we'll turn it on again as soon as we've solved this problem, or
at least have a solution in hand.

If you have a problem like that described above, please do the following:

1. Email the information requested above, along with the url for the
image-thread, to help@fictionalley.org

2. Post on the thread to say that you've reported it to the AA
administrators, as recommended in the Site Announcement (you might
want to link to this announcement there).

3. An AA admin will then move your art away from the public eye, so
only other admins can access it, so we can use it to help figure out
the problem. You'll get an auto-sent email when this happens, which
you can ignore.

Thanks for being so understanding during all of this, and thanks in
advance for helping us to solve the problem!
