ArtisticAlley.org is back!
May. 2nd, 2006 08:50 amRegister.com are gits.
ETA: They told me this morning that it expired over a year ago, which I take to mean that it expired in July of 2004 (it was originally registered in July of 2001, IIRC) - and that makes *no* sense, as I have the email confirmations about renewals that we did of all of FA's domain names back in the spring of 2004. So I have to send those emails over to them today, but they say they have no record of it. I still don't know if they tried to send us any notifications of it being expired at any time in the last "over a year" period, but I can swear that my gmail account and my yahoo account have no such notices in them.
And they're not explaining why I have no record of any notices, or why it was transfered to a third party without any notice to me at the time said transfer happened.
So they're gits.
Confirmed - it purportedly expired in July 2004. Problem is, we renewed all our other domains in the spring of 2004 on the same account, and confirmed it with a phone call, so I just need to prove it to them and they'll refund the renwal fee that I paid today.
Gits.

Date: 2006-05-02 01:31 pm (UTC)And I can't make the change back until I go home - I left the original files and all the links there - it'd take too much time to look them all up again so it'll be done tonight.
*hugs*

Date: 2006-05-02 09:15 pm (UTC)Mind, I thought domains were like a 12 monthly agreement. Weird. Especially if it expired like two years ago.
