Easter humor!

thistlerose, the 2006 Peeps Diorama Competition, With Slideshow. I am amused by Yolkback Mountain and Peep Wars, would love an icon of Peepza (as well as the bunnies in Yolkback) and am kicking myself for laughing at the New Orleans one, now that I've looked at the whole of the image.

Date: 2006-04-16 12:05 am (UTC)Ok, you aren't allowed to read it. LOL And haven't you felt that way about the last few movies as well?
I really love her quote:
"It's all there in HBP, and only those who are hopelessly in denial wouldn't be able to see it, and well, they are not worth bothering with. I have nothing to obsess over anymore, because I've been proven right."
A bit of gloating? As long as she's happy being right, I guess. :-) You would think (just as those who follow Snape) they would want to see how he comes out. Draco's got depth? Too funny. Don't bother me. LOL

Date: 2006-04-17 12:27 am (UTC)As for your actual comments. Nope. Not in the fandom (too scary) LOL. Just a fan of the books. But I have seen some of the 'gloating' and you're right, your comment was nowhere as 'demonstrative' as some I've seen.
Not sure exactly how much depth Draco has attained, but there is some there in HBP. As you said, no need to bother with my opinion on that. ;)
Finally, as for changing interests: That is one thing that was bound to happen with a series of 7 books, where young adults who start reading it in earnest when they're 13-14, that by time it is completed they're in their mid-20's and those years bring a great deal of growth and change. Only natural that a large segment of readers (yes, I know there are many other age groups that are fans) would be 'less' interested over time, especially, strangely enough, those who were most involved and then got burnt out somewhat because of the extent of their involvement.
