2. Rumors that are spread behind one's back such that one never heard of them while it's still possible to present a different side to a story
3. The lack of Regulus-fics. There should be *thousands*.
4. People who've seen one or two of the films, and haven't read any of the books, considering themselves part of fandom. Even if you've read fanfic, if you haven't seen all the films or read all the books (one or the other, at least) you shouldn't be in the fandom. It's not that time consuming to see 10 hours of film, or spend 40 hours reading (or listening to audiotapes for 60 hours).
5. The multiplicity of sites and communities and yahoogroups that all do the same thing, and seem to be completely unaware of each other's existence.
