Anyone who was writing or drawing Blaise, Regulus or a "half-blood" Snape pre-HBP,a dn who's attending Lumos, interested on being on a panel discussion with emmagrant01 and r_becca and possibly me regarding changing presumptions about the characters you essay and fic and fanart about?

I wrote Regulus pre-HBP and am going. I probably don't have as much to say on the matter as others, but I would be interested, I think.

Excellent! YM me at heiditandy or AIM me at travelingheidi if you're interested in being on a panel where you'd get to talk about woobie Reg?

I'll try to ping later. I'd definitely be interested, though I'm trying to think how much my writing/reading of Regulus has been effected.

*head desk* Now I really wish I could go to Lumos *sigh* (I fall under, drawing Regulus pre-hbp)

Y'all will make a book of this stuff too right? Because i'd love to read this presentation.

[livejournal.com profile] saeva and I both wrote Blaise pre-HPB (fairly extensively, actually, in both slash and gen genres) and we're going. *g*

I also have an essay on the naming scheme and Blaise which, er, HPB sort of blew out of the water, so there's that too.

I'll forward the note to [livejournal.com profile] saeva and ask her to, but unless you'd like to be IM'ed around 9-10PM CST Wednesday, I'm not going to be able to do it. *G*

You mean Snape is a half-blood??? I think fandom is still in shock about that one. Five years writing him as a pureblood, and now I have to change my entire view of who he is.

You're coming to Lumos, right?

See, yeah, I also presumed he was pureblood, at least a few generations back, but certainly not with a Muggle parent - I did not, however, ever think he lived in Snape Manor.

Yes, I'm coming to Lumos.

I must admit that I wrote the Snape Manor once, however most of the times it was a pureblood from centuries, but with a family who lost all the money.
