Are they really saying it could take as long as Easter? Good Lord, that seems so long!
For what it's worth, our provincial hydro company is sending trucks and equipment to help get things back in working order. Of course their trucks don't move very fast (100 km/hr) so it'll take tham a while to get there.
Your posts remind me of the aftermath of the ice storm here a few years back. We were blessed to have only been without power for 5 days at my place, 8 days at my parents. I have relatives who lived without power for 6 weeks. Especially scary when you think that right after the ice storm temperatures dipped down to about -40 for a week.
