Now that
melissa_tlc has posted about it, I can too!
We need one or two people who are familiar with working mixing boards for audio, if you're going, or just live locally. Let me know via email or post a reply here & I'll pass it onto Melissa.
And now, announcement number 2:
Destination Salem has invited Chris Rankin to participate in the Parade on Thursday night. I've known for a few weeks, but was told not to say anything until the DS people told me it was public, but I think they may've forgotten to let me know, because Chris has posted about it on his blog. And if you can't get to Salem for the weekend, you can catch an internet broadcast of the parade here, if all goes well, on Thursday, October 6. I know I'll be watching (as I'm not leaving for Salem for another 12 or so hours after that).
Lastly, a laugh: I was looking at one of the articles about TWH and one of the photo captions said, "The aging actors playing the principals in the Potter movies are sure to be a topic of conversation at The Witching Hour conference in Salem next week."
I don't think the discussion of the aging of the actors is going to be the same take on the topic that the mainstream media has had. One amusing thing I stumbled across when trying to get that article back just now, btw, was this. Oh, so ickle!
The next show will be LIVE from Salem, Mass., where The Witching Hour convention is taking place this weekend. We'll be at Finz Seafood Restaurant at 76 Wharf Street, Salem, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. this Saturday, so if you're there, come by and watch Melissa mess up the audio!

Ha!
