Gacked variously, a brief history of time on my LJ...
Three years ago, my grandmother was set to be discharged from the hospital where she'd been for about a week with a broken hip.
Two years ago, lots of posts, including a link to my GreatestJournal, which I have never used and a bit of laughing-gas-inspired silliness.
Last year, Jon Stewart slams at Bill O'Reilly. Take the poll now if you didn't then! And hey, has O'Reilly ever won an Emmy? Didn't think so!
Six months ago, a pink laptop on sale to help support breast cancer research and a musing on waiting and cold stone creamery ice cream.
Three months ago, some thoughts on self-censorship in front of one's kids.
Last month, Hurricane Katrina hit here in Miami, and I posted while the power went out. And please note, my statements about Katrina were from the tv news, and only pertained to Miami. And weren't far from wrong.

Wow, I got a kick out of the Stewart/O'Reilly exchange!

Speaking of Jon Stewart, he's auctioning two pieces of the old Daily Show set on eBay. People can bid through 9/28 and all proceeds will go to 826 NYC - a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring students to write.

You know, that Cold Stone Creamery entry made a permanent impression on me. I had never even heard of the chain until then. Now we're getting one about 20-25 mins away. Doubt I'll get there much, if ever, but at least I know what it is now. :D
