Today is Percy's birthday, per JKR's site.
And again the debate about whether she's only wishing happy birthdays to characters who are alive and good at the end of Book 7 ensues.

On rereading HBP, I was noticing just yesterday that Tom Riddle (Voldemort) was born on December 31 (as the twelfth month was dying, just as Harry was born as the seventh month was dying) but I don't recall her wishing a happy birthday to him last year. Of course, he's the villain, but all the same... Food for thought.

I was so disgruntled to hear that he was a Capricorn. Couldn't he have been born on February 29, so that it would be 3/4 less likely that anyone would share his birthday?

Heh, no it's not weird. Some of my friends tease me about Chris as well. XD (According to his website, he says he might be coming back to the States within the next few months for some conventions. Know anything about that? ;) )
