The news that he had died last night was enough to shock me out of bed this morning. So sad.

I haven't been watching ABC news pretty much at all since moving to Boston, but Jennings was the best of all three of the major anchors. He was really an "anchor" in every sense of the word. The obit on him in the NYT made me cry, too. Dammit.
