Friday Five
May. 13th, 2005 09:06 am1. What's the last concert you attended?
Duran Duran, with
jlh! So wonderful!
2. Who is the best live performer you've ever seen?
Bruce Springsteen does an amazing live show, as does U2. But hands down, for spontineity and friendliness and atmosphere, it's Neil Finn, who I've only seen solo, but who is amazing, from the videos I've seen, in whatever incarnation he's playing in.
3. You can invite 2 artists to your house, but they must sing together. Who are they and what one song will they sing?
Neil Finn & Roddy Frame. Ever since the In The Round show in the UK back in 98, I've wanted to see them work together. And I'd have them sing any song of their choice - anything at all - but I'd love to see what they'd do with something from Squeeze or Elvis Costello. They each do wonderfully unexpected covers - Roddy of Jump & True Colors, and Neil of everything from Anarchy in the UK to Shark Attack to She's Not There, so letting them choose would be fine!
4. Pick one to see: ABBA, Jimmy Buffet or Kenny Chesney?
Jimmy. With a margarita and a cheeseburger in my hands!
5. Friday Freebie: Tell us anything you want about music!
I have 1600 sounds on iTunes, and at this moment, I am shifting among three different iPods (mine, my husband's and my dad's).

Date: 2005-05-15 01:30 am (UTC)I'm seriously his biggest one, ever forever. He and Tim played in my home town in November and it kicked all varieties of arse, and he looks like such a weeny little leprechaun but he is ever so good at music n stuff.
And I get to see him again in July! Go me!
