To be slightly more coherent, I've been working on a theory of Astrological Sorting for mooooonths. Harry is a Leo-Gryffindor, but Trelawney had him pegged for a Capricorn, which is the most Slytherin sign there is (according to me). Thus it makes sense that Harry has Capricorn rising, and perfect sense that Snape is a Cap himself, being head of Slytherin and all.

Personally, I have Gryffindor sun, Ravenclaw rising and Slytherin moon, which couldn't be more accurate.
