Two Wizards, One Gift, and a Duck-Billed Platypus, which I loved not just for its humor and its style, but also its real-world accuracy in mentions of certain Muggle toys. Plot is basically Remus & Sirius in a Muggle toy store in advance of Xmas 1980, in search of a gift for Baby Harry. Yes, there is R/S, but even if you don't ship it, the story is a wonderful read anyway.

Thanks for reccing that story. Remus/Sirius isn't something I usually read these days (too bittersweet, you know?), but this one was charming.
