Date: 2004-10-27 09:02 am (UTC)To be silent when it's time to speak is a weakness, says a Persian proverb. I say it's also a bad idea to speak when it's time to be silent. In the coming week, one of these rules or the other will always be in effect for you, Scorpio. To know which one is in ascendancy at any given time, you'll have to be very alert; conditions will be shifting constantly. Make it your goal to be so attuned to the fresh truth of each new moment that you will always express yourself when the time is ripe, and shut up when it isn't. Halloween costume suggestions: a pythoness or fortune-teller; a talking mime or a silent clown who carries around chalk and a portable chalkboard to communicate; Triumph the Insult Comic Dog with a muzzle.

Date: 2004-10-27 09:23 am (UTC)Okay, this is weird. I was thinking of doing the gypsy fortuneteller bit. And I *am* a Scorp!
Looks like I made the right choice, eh?

I just downloaded Wig in a Box last night -- does it get any better than Fred Schneider doing a Hedwig cover? I suspect not. Cyndi Lauder does Midnight Radio, and The Bens cover of Wicked Little Town is great!

Mulan is almost my favorite Disney movie! And on some days, it actually beats Lion King!
Archer Man: *rears back bow string, aiming arrow* "... One."
*drool* YES. I coud hardly believe a Disney movie had a scene like that! Amazing and wonderful!
And yes yes! The "Someday I'll, make a man, out of you!" song is like the best song ever! And how it moves the story along! And the sound of all the men singing as one! *drool* And, for once, a good guy who is actually sexy!
...now I want to go watch it again. :)

Date: 2004-10-27 09:25 am (UTC)She knew that, and yet she took great pleasure in being late for all of their scheduled rendezvous.
Making him wait put him in his place. He needed reminding that their little fling (or whatever it was) continued only because she permitted it.
"You're late," he said, as she reached their meeting place. His lips formed a slight smirk. "Have you no respect for time?"
"It's nice to see you too," she said airily. His proximity was making her feel warm. She should have worn something that breathed more, like cotton, rather than silk.
He stepped closer and bent his face down to hers. "I've got something to tell you," he whispered. His breath on her face made her pulse pound in her ears.
"Yes?" she asked, avoiding his eyes. Those eyes always turned her into a quaking seventeen year old schoolgirl.
"We're through," he said, and stepped back to admire his work.
