Arrr... what's going to happen to Leo?! They showed him like having a heart attack at the tease for the next 8 episodes... Maybe it was just another drunken rage; Bartlet WILL drive him back to drinking before the seasons over, I swear.
anyway, as I was saying, it takes almost more effort than it's worth to get drunk on kosher wine ;)
although, I did spend one Passover with my best college friend after graduation, and between the five of us that had dinner one night, we polished off *four* bottles of Manischewitz Cream White!! (of course, the three of us who were kinda lightweights, maybe a half-bottle each, were matched by the one lush who outdrank the 3 of us together!)
oh oh oh, but you must try to find a new-ish Italian brand of Kosher wine. It's authentically imported, green label and all, from Bartenura. It's in a blue bottle, and comes in several wines; my favorite is a sweet Moscato D'Asti, almost like a dessert wine. It's like liquid gold when presented as a Hostess gift -- practically guarantees a return invite :D
Are there sulfites in beer? I'm such a dweeb I only drink red wine, champagne and amaretto (favorite--only, that is--mixed drink: the Toasted Almond, with creme de cocoa, amaretto and cream).
I'm glad there are no West Wing spoilers here, since I taped it and won't get to watch it until tomorrow night, probably. (Tapes of NYPD Blue and Smallville are ahead of it in the queue.)
