So here's one fact Dick got wrong: he said people should go to factcheck.com.

Oops.

It's FactCheck.org. Check it out! It's a PENN-site! (I think they're sometimes wiggy with context, but as an uber-view, it's at least interesting.)

We're all lucky that factcheck.com isn't a pr0n site.

Did you check what it is?

At the moment, it's a redirect to georgesoros.com with a big headline of "President Bush is endangering our safety, hurting our vital interests, and undermining American values."

It wasn't, initially - I clicked over there just after Dick mentioned it. I wonder if the person who originally had it sold it to Soros during the debate, or just changed where it was pointing to. The listed registrant is something in the Caymans, whereas the registrant for GeorgeSoros.com is listed as a private registration within Network Solutions, in care of George Soros, and the DNSes are different.

I kinda think it was hacked. My friend was tracking it for a couple hours after the debate last night...when he first checked it (11:00ish), it was the Soros site, then went to one with a whole lot of popups, then back to the Soros site. Google has it as "The Leading Educational Site on the Web".

I am so glad that debate is normal... maybe now I'll go back to having a fully functioning school :)

Thant makes Cheney the unexpected nerd of this election, doesn't it? He was already quoting Google in his acceptance speech at the convention...

I KNOW! It was rather cool to have Penn mentioned, but by Cheney? Ewww.
