At this moment, the numbers on their online poll (mid-right-side) are as follows:

Q: Who won Thursday's presidential debate in Coral Gables, Fla.?

It was a tie (14%) 12,900

President Bush (40%) 35,671

Senator Kerry (40%) 36,041

Isn't that interesting?

Funnier: I just voted Kerry, and the numbers didn't budge a bit. As in, Kerry is still at exactly 36,041.

Huh.

OK, I hit the "view results" button, and it pulled up higher numbers across the board. Only slightly less suspicious now.

Probably just a natural result of the right-wing leanings of those who visit Fox News' website, rather than vote-rigging shenanigans on Fox's part.

In fact, I'm surprised it's so close. I'd have expected such an overwhelmingly right-wing voting base to be more partisan and give Bush the egde. Just goes to show how well Kerry did!

I redid the math using the numbers as of 1:57 and got

Bush 39.73%
Kerry 40.34%
Tie 14.29%
Neither 0.92%
Didn't watch 4.72%

with 95,168 votes cast.

Given that it is more likely that people who feel strongly one way or another are more likely to vote, I think the projections are reasonable to have the numbers be what they were. What's to say there isn't "ballot stuffing" going on? It had no problem letting me vote twice (I didn't but it gave me the poll option twice).

Surely you've seen it before with other online polls.

the fact that Kerry's TIED with Bush on FOX NEWS of all places is actually kind of encouraging.

Heh...voted (for Kerry of course!) and the numbers are as follows:

Kerry 44,770
Bush 43,798
It was a tie 15,547

On a side note, it was encouraging for me to see that my company was urging its employee to register to vote this past week. They had a table with voter registration forms in our lobby all week. :)

Huh. Up where I'm at they reported 45% said Kerry, and 35% said Bush, and the rest said tie.
