Given that it is more likely that people who feel strongly one way or another are more likely to vote, I think the projections are reasonable to have the numbers be what they were. What's to say there isn't "ballot stuffing" going on? It had no problem letting me vote twice (I didn't but it gave me the poll option twice).
Surely you've seen it before with other online polls.

On a side note, it was encouraging for me to see that my company was urging its employee to register to vote this past week. They had a table with voter registration forms in our lobby all week. :)
