heidiJust wanted to update everyone on what's up with Jeanne. We're at the bottom end of the swirly-thing you see on the news; that means we might possibly theoretically get some tropical storm force gusts overnight, but that's about it, we think.
Services were shortened by about three hours today; they cancelled the family service entirely. It was pretty messy around 4ish, although right now, we're luckily not suffering anything serious. Hopefully we won't lose power; that can happen whenever a tree hits a wire, so...
So we had a hurricane/break the fast party. I made brownies with the kids, and everyone broke with bagels & lox & strawberries, except me, because I didn't fast (one shouldn't while pregnant). I made margaritas and was told they were good. I miss 'em.
Things should be back to normal tomorrow - one thing about having so many of these is that our recovery time is *much* quicker than it had been!
