Some info for us citizens living overseas (or, for that matter, in canada):

September 15 is the deadline in many states for Americans living overseas to register to vote and send in their ballot applications.

U.S. citizen living overseas, can get all the information they need and even fill out absentee ballot forms online by visiting:

You're a lifesaver. I will be in Australia through most of October, and had panicked thoughts of not being able to vote. (Sure, not like one vote makes such a difference, but still, I really really really want to in this election especially, considering the narrow margin.) So this will make it easy. Thanks!

This is actually really reassuring since, having all ready registered, it means I don`t have to worry that my ballot hasn`t come yet.
