Boring. That's what it's like waiting for a hurricane when it's still 5 hours offshore and you finished boarding up your house 20 hours ago and you're sitting in a hotel with your family but at least PoA and shrek are on the in-hotel cable thingy.

Sky is wonderfully blue and the day is mind-numbingly long. Prayers to Bill Clinton, who also seems to be having a long day.

Yeah, I bet you are bored. I talked to my mom and dad this morning and they said it ws moving pretty slow and had been downgraded to a Category 3. Which of course, is still bad.

OH MY GOD....WORD. I am so bored right now. I went over to Palm Beach when the first outer band was hitting us, but that's it. It's one of the nicest days in ages and I'm just sitting inside waiting for this stupid hurricane. JUST HIT ALREADY. And they keep saying it's going to get stronger again and whatnot and I'm just like, "Right. Sure." And ACK. Need something to do. SO BORED.

This is one of this slowest-moving hurricanes I can remember. Just hit and get it over with!! *pets Florida friends* Looks like my in-laws will be spending quite awhile in southeastern TN waiting for Frances to be over with.

The hurricane was downgraded to a category 3, so that can't be bad. Is this what it's like to live in Florida in the late summer/early fall?

Ah, Clinton! I really hope Bill Frist isn't his surgeon. That would be a tragedy.
