Are you a red-stater or a blue-stater? Take Slate's quiz here.

Dead center, I am.

That's because I know where Door County is.

Is it cold in here? You're a little blue.

Hmmm, I figured as much ^^

Me too. Most of my red answers were stuff I learned before moving to civilization. Go fig. :p

Purple?

According to this quiz, I'm "in the middle." However, I think I accidentally skewed the test due to general knowledge. Bah humbug. Am definitely NOT in the middle :)

Ding. I'm "in the middle" because I am informed and educated. Also, I have shot a gun.

I showed up in the light pink area. What's that supposed to mean?

Right smack-dab in the middle!

Does that make me a white-stater, since that was the color my arrow pointed to?

But it's 'cause I *know* stuff! I spent a summer in Door County, so I know where it is. So I know who sings country songs. And yes, I am aware who owns Sam's Club as well as who played in the Passion of the Christ (doesn't mean I saw it!) - it just means I Pay *Attention* to the World Around Me.

So Heidi, where were you in the color-spectrum?

I ended up in the red, but it's because of the things that I know. I live near a wal-mart, I knew who played Jesus, I know Sam's Club, bleh. I am no Republican, dammit. >:0

Appearantly, I'm on the red side, despite being quite blue myself.

Damn Texas!

I can't believe I'm in the middle. I was sure I'd be completely blue. I must read too much.:-)

Right in the middle, and happy to be there: happy to call myself a moderate, happy to have some conservative leanings and some liberal leanings, and happy to politely refuse most political labels. I like where I am!

Eh. I ended up far red. Which isn't true. The test is skewed so that red = generally educated. Mmm, gotta love bias.

I ended up in the middle, too. And I wouldn't even call Maine a red state, so it isn't really my upbringing—especially since I grew up in the most liberal of households! It's more that I'm no "flyover state" snob. But all the "how do you live your life" questions I pretty much answered blue.

And man, that is how I like it, you bet.
