Yeah, I was a bit annoyed by that as well initially, but at least it does keep it all together instead of strewn about the inbox which is something - and have gotten somewhat used to it
hehe google strikes again. poor yahoo. from the beginning they meant well but in the end it's about making that cheddah... i guess that what happens when you go to standford and have to pay back all those student loans.
From comments I have seen the changes seem to have been on the yahoo.com addresses only. Quite a few people with yahoo.co.uk addresses have mentioned no increase at all. Not sure if yahoo will be rolling out the service across the board or not...
Then that may be a breach of contract situation. If you don't have them by next Monday, you should complain to their legal department. And post on SlashDot!
I never even came close to using my old 6MB so 100MB is completely wasted on me. Big attachments would be handy if I had a decent connection, but I don't.
Yeah, that was my very first thought when I saw the announcement of Yahoo's change. Gotta keep the users there so they'll bring in the advertisement dollars.
While I think this gmail is a cool thing, I worry a little at Google going in that direction. Alta Vista was the Google of its time, then it decided to do things like offer email and such. Next thing we knew, Alta Vista decided to take the Yahoo path and become a portal site... and it never recovered. Back then, we (I was working at AV at the time) said eventually Google would do the same thing, and now it looks like that's coming true. I really, really, really hope Google knows what it's doing...

Will have to experiment some more.
