Just a quick Witching Hour reminder - if you haven't registered yet, you have just under five hours before the first price rise, from (USD)$120 to $140. What are you waiting for? Head on over to http://www.witchinghour.org/registration and sign on up!

What are you waiting for?

A job? I wish I could register, but this being suddenly unemployed is delaying a lot of things. *sigh*

Witching Hour correction?

I had visitied http://www.witchinghour.org/getinvolved/preevents.html and it listed a Tampa 'gathering' for POA. I then specked out http://www.livejournal.com/community/hp_florida/ which took me to http://www.livejournal.com/community/poa_tampa/

I've emailed the Tampa coordinator and no reply back on specifications. Very helpful... Not.

Ah well.

Got a question.

Salem is about 45 minute drive from my house? Do I have to pay because hello, not staying in a hotel, or eating or anything. Just gonna be all "hey, whats up everyone?"

Hey there

Just thought I'd field this for Heidi, since she's in NYC. Take a look at the events on the homepage.

http://www.witchinghour.org/events/schedule.html

If you want to go to any of them, then you'll need to register. There will be some things that are "public" and you can always drop buy and head out to eat with folks.

The registration fee isn't for the hotel or for very many meals (that's all extra). Its for the cost of the panels and the heart of the conference. Its going to be so much more than a bunch of fans getting together. Take a good look and explore the plans. They are really going to be great, and you'll need to register in order to participate.

Hope I finally get to meet you there. :)

Hi there - also stepping in quickly. :)

As [livejournal.com profile] siriologist said, the registration fee covers the events at the conference, and, for a five day fan conference, the current price of $140 is actually relatively cheap.

However, there are other options. If you're a student, you're eligible for a student discount (attending from 8:00 pm Friday night, October 7 to 5:00 pm Sunday evening, October 9 for a rate of $100 - conditions apply) or you can buy single-day registrations at the door, subject to availability, for $60 per day. More details can be found here - http://www.witchinghour.org/registration/#price.

The 'available to all' events that [livejournal.com profile] siriologist mentioned include the Weird Sisters concert on the Salem Common, watching the Quidditch Tournament (both free admission), or the Fall Festival ($5 admission).

If you have any more questions, feel free to email me at help@witchinghour.org
