Methinks it should be mentioned that Dean's father left his family --- the way it's worded on the tidbits page would make a first-timer think that he died whilst still with them.
"...his father walked out on the family when Dean was very young."
Of course, we could speculate that Dean's dad left his family to protect them...and died as a result of his fate.
"...nobody has ever discovered the truth: that Dean's father, who had never told his wife what he was because he wanted to protect her, got himself killed by Death Eaters when he refused to join them."
But then, Dean's background never came out in the books because it was sacrificed for Neville's "voyage of discovery" so the point might be moot. :)
Just wanted to thank you very much for doing this - and I will be checking back as you update - because probably like many others I'm curious but don't have time to go fooling around on the site to find things. Cheers!
It looks like a section on the Potters being stone-thieves and a section on Mafalda the not-appearing-in-these-books Weasley cousin got combined down near the bottom of the page. Wasn't sure if that was intentional. :)
Great page--amazing how much a little information from an author can *mean* to fans all over the place!
Hey, Heidi. If you could, could you change my name on the page from Slumusicgirl to Merin? I try not to have direct connections to LJ in plain text for everyone to read. :)
