Yesterday (about 20 hours ago now) I went out to my car to make sure it was clean before we drove to Aaron's firm picnic. Harry was sitting in the kitchen waiting for me and Jon was asleep upstairs and Aaron was out getting a quick game of raquetball in before we had to go. I got some detritus out of Harry's area and was stepping onto the porch when my shoe caught on the step and I tumbled forward.

I thought I'd broken my knee. But it seems I only ripped the hell out of it any any more description would be way TMI, so no.

Harry came to my rescue. I was lying on the porch and called out for him; he helped me onto the doorway stoop and brought me my phone so I could call Aaron and got himself a popsicle because he was thirsty while we waited. He is my hero.

It was about an hour before I felt I could stant and my range of motion is slightly limited and if I tried to kneel down to play with Jon I think I'd die, but it'll heel. And yes, I still went to the picnic and drove the hour up and the hour back and walked around the mall we went to for dinner and it wasn't until I got home and the tylonol wore off that the pain really hit me again. But it's morning and I'm better, but I'm going to take the day off from exercisey things anyway.

OUch ouch ouch!! Harry is a little hero :) And definitely take the day off from the exercisey stuff. It's tough to have any range of motion problems when you have younger kids who want/expect/need you to run around after them. My kid wanted my to run around our hilly, lumpy backyard yesterday to catch Nerf-football passes, which got my knee screaming again. She had to settle for tossing the football back and forth without any running. Anyway, I hope your knee feels better soon. Go to the doctor if you need to!
