Happy, happy birthday to my darling [livejournal.com profile] debellatrix, who saved my life at leat seventeen times at, before and after Nimbus. All of you who found corsets, wands, ties and HP stuff at Nimbus owe your happiness to her, and I wanted to take this chance to say a fond thank you to my favorite shopping goddess.

In other news, Neil Gaiman posted in his blog overnight that Johnny Depp was, at one point, set to play Crowley ina film of Good Omens, but the project is on hold now.

Johnny.

Crowley.

: bangs head into floor and wibbles

Johnny... Crowley? *gurgles* How perfect is that casting? *imagines Johnny calling Aziraphale "angel" and twitches*

Good Omens was written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The world is ending, the Anti-Christ is a ten-year old boy living in Lower Tadfield, the last two members of the Witch-Hunters Army get involved, as do Aziraphaele an angel who is been living too long on this lovely earth and got friendly (and more than friendly) with Crowley, the Devil, the Serpent, who terrorises house plants in his free time and of course all this was predicted in Agnes Nutter's Nice and Accurate Propheciefes.

It is a very funny book. And Crowley is a swoon-worthy wonderful character.

Terry Gilliam still wants to make this movie, but I am not sure if he even managed to finish Don Quixote so far.
