Well, it's Grawp week here on FA, and nobody was interested in signing up to summarize his character, so it falls to me, as do so many other unwanted jons here on FA.
La.
One gets the feeling that Grawp is much unloved in the fandom - even The LExicon hasn't added him to the character list yet! And I did a search on SCUSA and there's only one Grawp SHIP - Filch/Grawp - and it gives the impression of being, well, not very serious.
There are more ships involving Buckbeak!
Why is this?
Is it his lack of demonstrable conversation skills? People write fics about Mrs Norris, who, to date, has said less than Grawp. Is it his aggressive nature? He's no more violent than Bellatrix!
Why don't you find Grawp interesting? Why doesn't he inspire you to write fanfic? Why don't you find it challenging to get inside his head?
What about Grawp doesn't do it for you?
