Yesterday, my Big Present for the Year, an xm radio reciever, was installed.

This morning, I got into the car and Beat Surrender from The Jam is on. I've never just gotten into a car and had The Jam on, on the radio!

And my backscreen is pink! I love this thing!

XM sounds so impossibly cool *sigh* I have no money these days otherwise I'd get it in a flash. But as HP fans we should probably get SIRIUS, don't you think?? *snerk* Just kidding; I know XM has a lot more subscribers, probably for a good reason. I just love the idea of having a lot of choices to listen to, rather than the crapola that passes for popular music these days. *sigh* Happy New Year:-)

My husband has XM radio in his Accord demo. I love driving it, though I shouldn't be, because I am so in love with XM radio. You must've been listening to that "Fred" radio station, yes? Because that station so rocks! Today they played the Cure, The Clash, The Pixies, REM, Siouxie and the Banshees, The Dead Milkmen, The Cult, Morissey, Devo, and so much more. When I have his car, I take the long way home and just find things to go do just so I can listen to the radio. And I sit in the driveway when I get home for quite some time just to hear the great music, even though I have it inside. It is just so fantastic to be able to listen to the radio because it actually has stuff on that I not only like, but I LOVE!
