Yes, I have partaken of Chinese food.

We did our traditional Xmas Day events of a pancake breakfasst (harry ate 5, and Jon had two!), followed by a trip to the zoo to see the animals open their presents, then lunch at Canton's, where they have amazing honey chicken and actually spicy sweet & sour sauce.

And they just added a carousel to the zoo - harry rode a rhino and jon took his first ride, on a manatee!

This afternoon, my parents are having their usual party for 150 or so, featuring ham and potato pancakes. Back in 1992, we all realised that nobody had anything to do on the 25th, so they started inviting friends from our synogogue over for a buffet dinner; it's grown to epic proportions.

Then, this weekend, the festivities and when my sister takes me to best buy & gets an XM Radio installed in my car, w00t.

Jon did not get what I wanted for xmas, namely, his two front teeth. Perhaps by my birthday?

Hey, sounds like you're having a fun day. I hope Jon gets his two front teeth for your birthday too!

I love making new traditions and it sounds like your family is dealing with the Christmas season in a very cool way. I actually have a bunch of non-Christian friends back east who started their own tradition of getting together on Christmas Day and throwing a Holiday party. Last I heard they had about 20 people show up. It started off with five. :D
