Several of us from hp_california went to see it back when Looney Toons came out. ixchelmala talked the manager into letting the group see it twice (the first time I wasn't with them).

It's truly amazing on the big screen, isn't it? The Dementor is soooooo creepy. The trailer, good as it is on a computer monitor is just... so much more in the movie theatre where it is meant to be seen.

When we went, there was a whole row of fangirls in front of us holding hands and squeeing just like we were. It was a real trip.

Nothing like that in England unfortuantely. In fact I'm not even sure it's made the cinema screens here *sigh*

I bet we have to wait until April or May before we get to see trailers on the big screen.

Ah, lucky! They only allowed for one preview during the whole Trilogy Tuesday, and it was an Ashton Kutcher film. WHY couldn't I have gotten Daniel, et al instead? >.<

Yeah, that was exciting! It was the first time I was able to experience it with sound and picture at the same time (I'd only been able to manage one or the other, oddly), so was extra-cool. Now I could also *see* those bizarre frogs...

No kidding. I was heartened to hear several people go "Woo!" and clap. I clapped and wriggled in my seat. I'm sure the two girls on either side of me thought I was demented.
